At the recent Irish Film Institute, “Ash vs. Evil Dead” icon Bruce Campbell was asked about the future of the Evil Dead franchise if Starz were to cancel the show.

While attending the event, Campbell made it very clear to the audience that Evil Dead‘s future is looking rather bleak if “Ash vs. Evil Dead” gets cancelled.

When a fan asked him if we will ever see another Evil Dead movie, he responded:

No, no, no. Because if they cancel it, I think Ash is done. I have lavender on my property. I’m going to smoke weed and hang out.

Let’s hope it doesn’t comer to that. Fans should start demanding that Starz renew “Ash vs. Evil Dead” for another season. Dark Universe will keep you posted.

I have got to admit my excitement for another season has weaned quite a bit. These types of shows you can only take so much of. I love Ash but there is only so much you can do with his story. I have some catching up to do after only seeing the first episode of season 3…first two seasons were fun but after seeing the season opener of season 3 it feels like they are rebooting everything all over again. I hope they at least green light a final season…even if it is a limited amount of episodes…so they can nicely wrap things up. I’d rather the show go out on top then be milked on and on.
