Chucky Returns in MGM's 'Child's Play' Remake; First Look at the Killer Doll

MGM has just released the first look at the new Chucky doll for Norwegian filmmaker Lars Klevberg’s remake of Tom Holland’s 1988 classic horror film Child’s Play, which is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada. Sadly, neither Brad Dourif or Don Mancini will be involved.

You can take a much larger look at the brand new Chucky doll below, along with the film’s official plot details.

Synopsis: “Child’s Play follows a mother (Plaza) who gives her son (Bateman) a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.”

So far the cast is as follows: Aubrey Plaza and Brian Tyree Henry have been cast as leads, along with child actor Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out) as our young protagonist Andy Barclay.

To be honest, I’m not feeling this remake at all. What do you guys think? Let us know in your thoughts our comments section below.
