Day of the Dead: Bloodline

We recently learned that Saban Films acquired the U.S. distribution rights to Millenium Films’ upcoming Day of the Dead remake, which is going by the official title of Day of the Dead: Bloodline. Saban will release the film this year, but no confirmed date has been set at present.

In other good news, Saban’s Day of the Dead: Bloodline has just been given an R-rating by the MPAA for “bloody violence and gore, language and brief sexuality/nudity.

Synopsis:
The post-apocalyptic tale follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her.

The film stars Johnathon Schaech, Sophie Skelton, Marcus Vanco, Jeff Gum (Exeter, The Vault), Lorina Kamburova (Nightworld, Leatherface, Death Race 4), Nick Loeb, Rachel O’Meara, Debbie Sherman, Luke Cousins, Nathan Cooper, and Cristina Serafini.

Stay tuned to Dark Universe for the official release date announcement.
