Director Patrick Brice Officially Confirms Creep Sequel

Last week, we reported that Creep star Mark Duplass posted a message on Twitter about trying on his new costume for the sequel. We didn’t know for sure if this was confirmed or not, no official announcement was made at the time. Well, Director Patrick Brice’s has now official confirmed that a Creep sequel will happen via the New Flesh Podcast.

“There’s been no official announcement…I know we’ve been kind of hemming and hawwing about whether or not there was going to be a sequel to CREEP, and it’s funny because Mark has alluded to it a couple times,” he tells the podcast, “but for some reason this tweet of him trying costumes on got picked up by Bloody Disgusting and then everyone started to report on it…

It’s out there now, and we better make a good movie.”

Original Creep synopsis:

“When a videographer answers a Craigslist ad for a one-day job in a remote mountain town, he finds his client is not at all what he initially seems.”

The first film starred Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, who both co-wrote it. The original Creep was directed by Patrick Brice. We don’t yet know if he will return to direct the sequel.
