Fan Shares Rare Unused ‘Child’s Play 3’ Art Poster Concepts

Director Jack Bender’s Child’s Play 3 was released in 1991, and was set inside of a military academy with our possessed killer doll Chucky on the loose. I personally find the third film to be the weakest sequel in the trilogy, which also featured a new actor in the role of Andy Barclay. Well, that’s just our opinion, but what do you think?

While on the subject of Child’s Play 3, a fan of the franchise known as Stephen Snowdon shared a bunch of rare unused art concepts posters via his Facebook page. Snowdon confirms “they appeared on an auction site about a year ago.”

Most of these could of easily become the official poster for the film, and we think you would agree that they all look really great. I would love to have seen the coloured versions of these.

About the film:

It’s been years since Chucky, the doll with the soul and the voice (Brad Dourif) of a psychopathic killer, was apparently destroyed in a fire at a doll factory. Now Chucky’s manufacturer is remaking the same line of toys with the old, still haunted materials. This resurrects Chucky, who goes after Andy (Justin Whalin), his former owner, who now attends military school. Chucky slashes his way through a string of grotesque murders as Andy tries to stop the homicidal doll and the spirit within it.
