Doctor Loomis Will Have a Vocal Cameo in David Gordon Green's 'Halloween'

One of the most noticeable missing pieces of the later Halloween films is the absence of legendary British actor Donald Pleasence, who is known for playing Doctor Loomis. Wouldn’t it be awesome to hear his voice one last time? Well, it’s happening!

The folks over at Yahoo had the chance to chat with the director of Halloween David Gordon Green, who had the following to say about the legendary Doctor Loomis in the new film.

We have a Donald Pleasence soundalike. Because obviously he’s no longer with us, but having someone that could mimic his voice was a fun challenge. And we nailed it, I think. If I do say so myself. And then there’s a couple other [nods to the past films].

Green teased, “There’s a vocal cameo you may or may not notice till the end credits.

This has got to be the most awesome piece of news coming from the Halloween camp. Let’s just hope that Doctor Loomis’ presence is truly felt in the upcoming sequel.
