You can also see a photo that appeared online early this morning, showing Curtis on the set with her dog. The first shot of Curtis actually on the set of Halloween can be seen below, thanks to Charleston city Paper: “We got the first shots today of what looks like Jamie Lee Curtis on set in North Charleston, in town reprising her role as Laurie Strode as local shooting of the latest Halloween movie is underway in the North Charleston area.” First shot. 357. ❤️ Feels good to have Laurie back on set for @halloweenmovie #HalloweenMovie pic.twitter.com/4PBGAl1anI — Jamie Lee Curtis (@jamieleecurtis) January 25, 2018 British actress Rhian Rees (Confession of a Child of the Century, Rehearsal, The Lears) recently joined the cast as Dana, but nothing about her role in the film has been revealed. My guess is that she could be a relative of Dr. Loomis, played by the late Donald Pleasence in John Carpenter’s Halloween. Will Patton “Shots Fired” has been cast to play a police officer. Ginny Gardner “Runaways”, Miles Robbins (My Friend Dahmer), Dylan Arnold (When We Rise), Drew Scheid (“Stranger Things”), have all joined the cast playing school friends of Andi Matichak’s character, Allyson. Christopher Nelson heads the special fx, along with Emmy Award nominee Vincent Van Dyke, who worked with Halloween icon Jamie Lee Curtis on the TV show Scream Queens. The film’s FX makeup coordinator is Bright‘s Stephanie A. Ford. Synopsis: “Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.” Nick Castle will once again return to play Michael Myers, Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to reprise her iconic role as Laurie Strode, Judy Greer will play Karen, the daughter of Laurie, Andi Matichak is playing Allyson, Greer’s daughter and Curtis’ granddaughter. John Carpenter will executive produce with Malek Akkad producing for Trancas and horror specialist Jason Blum producing for Blumhouse. Gordon Green and McBride will also executive produce under their Rough House Pictures banner. Halloween will stalk theaters on October 19th, 2018.
