NEWS BITS:

Jason Momoa Might Be Cast As Eric Draven In ‘The Crow’ Remake

It’s been ages since we first heard plans about the remake / reboot of The Crow, but nothing has ever come to light. Have you been waiting to know what’s happening with the project? Well, we do have a slight update on the film for you. What we do know is that Corin Hardy, director of The Hallow, will be taking on the job of directing the reboot / remake. But that’s not all my friends, because we have just heard that our Eric Draven may of been found.

Mashable is reporting that Jason Momoa might be taking the lead role in Relativity’s reboot /  remake of The Crow, which of course is based on the graphic novel by James O’Bar. The website says that the deal is sealed, and it has been confirmed by a post on Jason Momoa’s Instagram page that reads, “the only way to officially seal the deal as men Is a pint of black.”

The original Crow follows “Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) and his fiancée are brutally murdered by members of a violent inner-city gang. On the anniversary of their death, Eric rises from the grave and assumes the gothic mantle of the Crow, a supernatural avenger. Tracking down the thugs responsible for the crimes and mercilessly murdering them, Eric eventually confronts head gangster Top Dollar (Michael Wincott) to complete his macabre mission.”

We will continue to keep you updated as we know more.
