We learned around a week ago that Corin Hardy’s The Crow Reborn is slated to start pre-production in February with Jason Momoa (Aquaman) attached to star as Eric Draven.

Progress has been rather slow, but last night Momoa shared a creepy teaser on his Instagram page. Head on down to check that out and let us know what you think.

The Crow Reborn is being teased as a reboot of the 1994 film as well as a more faithful adaptation of the original graphic novel written by James O’Barr.

Synopsis:
Like the original, the story follows Eric Draven, a murder victim who returns from the dead, seeking vengeance on those who murdered him and his fiancée with the help of a mystical bird.

Samuel Hadida’s Davis Films, Highland Film Group and Electric Shadow previously acquired the rights to finance, produce and distribute the film.

Edward R. Pressman, who produced the original 1994 film starring Brandon Lee, will produce The Crow Reborn alongside Hadida and Kevin Misher of Misher Films. Highland Film Group and Electric Shadow are also producing, with HFG handling international sales. The film was developed by Pressman and Relativity.
