Joe Hill Says New 'IT' Adaptation is One of the Scariest Films Ever Made

Stephen King’s son, author Joe Hill (Locke & Key) took part in a Q&A session, stating that he watched an advanced screening for Andres Muschietti’s upcoming IT adaptation, which he claims is one of the scariest films EVER made!

There’s no denying that the footage of Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise in the new IT trailer is effectively terrifying.

Andres’ adaptation of IT is one of the 5 scariest films ever made,” Hill confidently stated. “It’s tremendously humane. You love the characters in it. But it is just relentlessly terrifying.

Hill continued, “Only Jaws, The Exorcist, John Carpenter’s The Thing and Let the Right One In are scarier. It’s that good. It’s that brilliant.
