Judith O'Dea Returns To Zombies In This 'Night Of The Living Dead: Genesis' Trailer

Director Matt Cloude’s Night of the Living Dead: Genesis is being described as a timeless homage to George A. Romero’s original zombie classic, and tells the story through Barbra’s eyes. What’s even more interesting is the fact that Cloude has hired Romero zombie veterans David Crawford, Jim Krut, Mike Christopher, and original Night of the Living Dead star Judith O’Dea, who reprises her classic role as Barbra.

The project has been in the making for years, but it looks to be finally moving forward. Director Matt Cloude and William G. Smith wrote the script for Genesis, and is based on the events from 1968.

“Night of the Living Dead: Genesis pays homage to the timeless classic while expanding upon its storyline to explore more of the night when the dead began to rise by chronicling the events through the eyes of lead heroine Barbra. Every legend has a beginning.”

There’s no release date at present, but we do have a trailer for you to check out below. Night Of The Living Dead: Genesis has a runtime of around 2 hours and 15, and we are not sure at this point if that will be the official length of the finished film.
