New IT Adaptation Pennywise Photo Shows Him Lurking in the Sewers

Another new Pennywise photo has appeared from the highly anticipated IT remake adaptation, which comes courtesy of EW. Director Andrés Muschietti had this to say about our villain. “Pennywise shows up, he’s front and center, and he does his show,” EW quotes Muschietti. “He has an act.”

IT stars Javier Botet, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Owen Teague, Nicholas Hamilton, and Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise.

Andy Muschietti (Mama) directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman and Chase Palmer. Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg, and Barbara Muschietti produce.

Creature performer Javier Botet plays The Leper, and Owen Teague plays Patrick Hocksetter, a bully who torment the Losers’ Club.

The first part of Andy Muschietti’s IT remake opens September 8th of next year.
