According to Deadline, Rob Zombie’s clown horror 31 will be released by Saban Films in theatres on September 16th, 2016. Saban has acquired the North American distribution rights to the film, and this will definitely be something else to look forward to later this year, just in time for the Halloween season.
Plot summary: “five carnival workers who are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive 12 hours against a gang of sadistic clowns.”
Rob Zombie’s 31 stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Meg Foster, Pancho Moler, Tracy Walter, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Jane Carr, Ginger Lynn, Lew Temple, Daniel Roebuck, E.G. Daily, Malcolm McDowell, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, David Ury, Judy Geeson, Torsten Voges, Richard Brake, Bari Suzuki, and Devin Sidell.
