Salt City Horror Fest to Screen Eight Films at Eastwood’s Palace Theatre

Are you looking for something to do this Easter Sunday? Well, take yourself down to Eastwood’s Palace Theatre, 2384 James St. and enjoy eight classic horror films, which is brought to you by the 12th annual Salt City Horror Fest.

The screenings start on Saturday, April 15, from 11:30 a.m. and will continue past the witching hour on Easter Sunday.

The following horror classics will be shown: The Mutilator (1984), Critters (1986), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), An American Werewolf in London (1981), From Beyond (1986), Re-Animator (1985), Creepers (1985), and Belly Timber (2016)

Special Guests:
Seven out of the eight films shown will be in old-school 35mm prints, and the other is in digital format. Special guests include The Mutilator special effects artist Edmund Ferrell, and director Buddy Ferrell will present a rare outtake reel.

John Dugan, who portrays the carnivorous granddaddy in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, will chat about his film work, along with writer Dustin Kay, Belly Timber producer Bobby Easley and actor Solon Tsangaras.

American Werewolf in London’s David Naughton will be making a live guest appearance.
