It appears that Shane Black’s The Predator has been pushed back yet again, now heading for a September 14th release date. Exhibitor Relations shared a tweet explaining the delay, and you can take a look at what they had to say below.

The Predator sets its sights on Sept. 14, 2018 instead of August 3rd. Obviously hoping to scare up some of that mad money Stephen King’s IT made last year in what is typically a box office dead zone.

The movie once again features unsuspecting humans who slowly realize that fierce hunter-aliens are in their midst, this time in what could be a suburban setting.

Black is directing the new installment, which he co-wrote with Fred Dekker. John Davis, Joel Silver, and Lawrence Gordon are producing the new project.

The film stars Edward James Olmos, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Munn, and Jake Busey.

Dark Universe will keep an eye on that release date, so stay tuned for more information as soon as we receive it.
