Stephen King’s 'The Dark Tower' Delayed Until Early August

Another day, and another delay. Columbia Pictures has pushed back The Dark Tower, the Stephen King adaptation, which was originally due for release on July 28th. We can now confirm that its new date is set for August 4th, only an extra week. Are you excited to finally see it?

In the film:

The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, roams an Old West-like landscape where “the world has moved on” in pursuit of the man in black. Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.

The film also stars Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Abbey Lee, and Kathryn Winnick.

Nikolaj Arcel will direct the adaption, with Ron Howard and Brian Grazer producing under their Imagine Entertainment banner.
