New Suspiria Film Reboot Will Star Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton

As previously reported last September, Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino has replaced David Gordon Green’s directing duties on the new Suspiria film. It will be a tough task to capture the magic of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror classic, so keep your fingers crossed.

Suspiria: Follows,

“an American ballet student who transfers to a prestigious dance academy in Germany but later realizes that the academy is a front for something far more sinister and supernatural amidst a series of murders.

The new Suspiria will be set in 1977 in Berlin and focus very closely on that moment in German history.

The filmmaker is hoping to get composer John Adams to score the music for the new Suspiria film, and will be taking a “Fassbinderian” approach on it. That’s not the only good news we have for you, because both Dakota Johnson and Tida Swinton have also signed on for the reboot.
