The Man Who Fell to Earth New 4K Restoration Trailer is Amazing

On the 9th of September a new 4K restoration of Nicolas Roeg’s sci-fi classic The Man Who Fell To Earth will be released, and now you can check out a brand new trailer for the film below!

“The film stars (David Bowie) who has come to Earth in search of water to save his home planet. Aided by lawyer Oliver Farnsworth (Buck Henry), Thomas uses his knowledge of advanced technology to create profitable inventions. While developing a method to transport water, Thomas meets Mary-Lou (Candy Clark), a quiet hotel clerk, and begins to fall in love with her. Just as he is ready to leave Earth, Thomas is intercepted by the U.S. government, and his entire plan is threatened.”

To celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary, The Curzon Soho have declared that September 9th will be known as their David Bowie day. We are hearing that director Danny Boyle will introduce a special screening for the film at Hackney Picturehouse on the 9th of September and tickets will be available here.

More exciting news is that the films soundtrack will be available for the very first time on a 2 CD set on 9th of September and 2CD/2LP set on 28 October. Amazing news or what.
