Vestron Video to Release Tibor Takacs' 1987 The Gate on Blu-Ray

Small creatures wreak havoc in director Tibor Takacs’ 1987 monster classic The Gate, a cult horror that will finally make its way to Blu-Ray format from Lionsgate’s Vestron Video brand on February 28th, 2017. We have already been treated to their awesome releases of Chopping Mall, Blood Diner, and Return of the Living Dead 3. Take a look down below for the special features and box art.

After an old tree is removed from the ground, three young children accidentally release a horde of nasty, pint-sized demons from the hole in a suburban backyard. What follows is a classic battle between good and evil as the three kids struggle to overcome a nightmarish hell that is literally taking over the Earth.
