VMI Wordwide Has Picked Up Nightworld Starring Robert Englund

The Patricio Valladares directed supernatural horror Nightworld starring Robert Englund (A Nightmare On Elm Street) has been picked up by VMI, who will bring the film to the forthcoming EFM in Berlin. We think anything that stars the iconic Robert Englund is worth checking out.

In Nightworld, “When Former LAPD Office, Brett Irlam takes a job as head of security at an old apartment building in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia, he soon begins to experience a series of bizarre and terrifying events. Once he begins to delve deep into the building’s sinister history, and investigate it’s shadowy owners and past employees, Brett soon uncovers a malevolent force nestled deep in the bowels of the building in basement that will do anything to be set free into our world.

The film is Penned by Barry Keating, Loris Curci and Milan Konjevic. Produced by are Loris Curci (11/11/11), Magarditch Halvadjian and Silvester Yordanov.

I had never played a blind man before,” jokes Englund. “It was challenging, fun and my character had some great lines. ‘Nightworld’ is one of the scariest scripts I have read in a long time. The story is haunting and original, and opens up to possible sequels…

Robert Englund and Jason London star in Nightworld, which was filmed in Bulgaria.
