George A. Romero’s New Italian Dawn of the Dead Blu-Ray Goes 4K

One awesome new Dawn of the Dead Blu-Ray release is coming! As previously reported by Dark Universe, George A. Romero’s newly restored 4K version of Dawn of the Dead  had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival, and Italian horror legend Dario Argento and Neon Demon director Nicolas Winding Refn where in attendance to introduce the film. The 4K European Cut (known as Zombi) is a collaboration by Koch Media, Norton Trust, and Antonello Cuomo, and we’re really excited to report that the film will be released in Italy real soon on Blu-Ray.

This amazing edition will be available to purchase from November 17th on an Ultra HD 4K disc, along with five separate Blu-Ray discs to seal the deal. You will have the option of the European cut, theatrical cut, or a number of extended theatrical cuts.
