Another 'Black Christmas' Remake is Coming This December from Blumhouse and Universal

In a surprising announcement, Blumhouse and Universal are unleashing a brand new reimagining of the Bob Clark horror slasher classic Black Christmas. According to a number of reputable sources, the film, written by April Wolfe and Sophia Takal, with Takal directing, is coming to theaters this December.

Jason Blum will produce Black Christmas for Blumhouse Productions, and Ben Cosgrove and Adam Hendricks of Divide/Conquer. Greg Gilreath and Zac Locke of Divide/Conquer are on board to executive producer the project.

Synopsis: “A group of sorority sisters at Hawthorne College, who are being hunted down and killed by an unknown stalker. Soon, the killer learns that the school’s women are willing to mount a fight to stop the carnage.

The Black Christmas remake will star Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Brittany O’Grady, Lily Donoghue and Caleb Eberhardt.
