We have just got word that the book-to-film adaptation of Stephen King’s IT has wrapped, which has just been confirmed by photograph producer Barbara Muschietti on her official Instagram page. Take a look at the creepy looking photo showing Pennywise inside of a jack-in-the-box as the clown pops out at you.

Muschietti posted:

“And yes, it’s a wrap on #itthemovie. Thank you amazing cast and crew for this magical journey. And thank you #stephenking for giving us this tale.”

IT stars Javier Botet, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Owen Teague, Nicholas Hamilton, and Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise.

Andy Muschietti (Mama) directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman and Chase Palmer. Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg, and Barbara Muschietti produce.

Creature performer Javier Botet plays The Leper, and Owen Teague plays Patrick Hocksetter, a bully who torment the Losers’ Club.

“In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers’ Club come face to face with life problems, bullies, and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise.”
