'The Batman' Image Shows Colin Farrell's Comic-Accurate Transformation as Penguin

Wonder Bros has been releasing tons of promotional images for Matt ReevesThe Batman over the last couple of days, including a terrifying look at the film’s supervillain The Riddler (Paul Dano), and a mysterious image of Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) and Commissioner Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) visiting a city morgue. Now, an image of Colin Farrell‘s amazing comic-accurate transformation as Penguin has arrived.

In The Batman: “The Riddler plays a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Batman and Commissioner Gordon in Gotham City.”

The film stars Robert Pattinson as Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Lt. James Gordon, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, and Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál.

Do you think Farrell’s Penguin costume is on point? If not, what would you have changed to make it more accurate? As usual, you can let us know your opinion on this down in our comments section below this article.

Reeves not only directed The Batman but also wrote the screenplay for the film with Peter Craig.

The Batman hits theaters on March 4th followed by HBO Max on April 19th.
