'Bed Rest' Director Lori Evans Taylor is Writing the Script for 'Final Destination 6'

It’s come to our attention this evening that Lori Evans Taylor, who is producing, writing, and directing a supernatural thriller titled Bed Rest, is currently writing the script for the sixth entry in the Final Destination franchise.

Deadline shared the following details:

Taylor is currently writing Final Destination 6 the site reports. Other recent writing credits include I Am Still Alive, starring and produced by Ben Affleck, the 21 Laps-produced I-5, and Small Price To Pay. She has previously produced stories for such television shows as Lucky Dog, Welcome Home, and others. She is represented by ICM Partners, Kaplan/Perrone and McKuin Frankel.

Jeffrey Reddick, creator of the Final Destination franchise, took to Twitter in late 2020 to assure fans that development had begun before covid hit, and promised things will progress once the business starts back up.
