'Boris Karloff: The Man Behind The Monster' Documentary Set To Release In October

Boris Karloff, best known for his role as Frankenstein’s Monster in Frankenstein (1931), Bride of Frankenstein (1935), and Son of Frankenstein (1939), will be getting his own documentary this October via Voltage Films entitled Boris Karloff: The Man Behind The Monster.

First reported by Variety, they say “the film offers a fascinating portrait of Karloff, examining his illustrious 60-year career in the entertainment industry and his enduring legacy as one of the icons of 20th century popular culture.”

Thomas Hamilton directed the film that is said to follow on from the 2010 biography Boris Karloff: More Than A Monster, written by Stephen Jacobs and will include interviews from Guillermo Del Toro, John Landis, Joe Dante, Christopher Plummer, Peter Bogdanovich, Ron Perlman, and many others.
