While speaking with editor Patrick Cavanaugh, Tom Atkins, acting icon and star of Halloween III: Season of the Witch, revealed that he would love a cameo appearance in Blumhouse Productions’ Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. And according to Atkins, actor Charles Cyphers, who appeared in the first two original Halloween films as sheriff Lee Brackett, is set to reprise his role in director David Gordon Green’s new sequel.

While talking with the site, Atkins revealed the following details:

I think [Halloween star] Chuck Cyphers is going to be in this next one. He was in a bunch of those early ones, the original and a bunch thereafter. So he’s going to be in it.

The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers, Anthony Michael Hall as adult Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards as adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu will return as Julian, Robert Longstreet as adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.
