The Chattanooga Film Festival 2021 Returns With A Bloody Fun Line-up

The Chattanooga Film Festival returns this summer with a virtual lineup that will blow your mind. Running from June 24 to 29th, the festival is streaming a smorgasbord of horror. Get ready!

A CFF 2021 VIP badge includes access to shorts, features, events, and three secret screenings that have yet to be announced because they’re SECRET.

In addition, the discord server is open to pass holders to unite fans, cinephiles, journalists, filmmakers, and aspiring directors, actors, and writers who love the horror and thriller genre.

Some highlights of the festival include TEDDY, a French horror film about a werewolf, directed and written by Ludovic Boukherma and Zoran Boukherma; WOODLANDS DARK AND DAYS BEWITCHED: A HISTORY OF FOLK HORROR, from Kier-La Janisse; and MOM, I BEFRIENDED GHOSTS, a horror film about a small Siberian town, directed and written by Sasha Voronov; and WE’RE ALL GOING TO THE WORLD’S FAIR, a film about a role-playing horror game, directed and written by Jane Schoenbrun; and BLOOD CONSCIOUS, which is about demonic forces and a mass shooter, directed and written by Timothy Covell.

Welcome to the Final Girl Support Group with Grady Hendrix

June 26 at 4:00 PM EST

Horror author Grady Hendrix leads a very special support group…from hell? I’m not sure exactly, but I love Grady Hendrix so much, I can’t wait for the special event!

The Nights that Panicked America: A Brief History of the Golden Age of the Made for TV Genre Movie from Amanda Reyes

June 26 at 12:00 PM EST

A lecture about the made for TV movies genre by film historian Amanda Reyes (“Are You In the House Alone: A TV Movie Compendium.”) I’m going to buy their book RIGHT AWAY because it sounds amazing. Remember, MOTHER, MAY I SLEEP WITH DANGER? Oh my god, that film ruled.

Check out the rest of the festival’s offerings on their website at chattfilmfest.festivee.com; there are so many incredible-looking features and shorts. Badges run for $65, but individual tickets will be available for select films, though the festival is geo-locked to the United States.

Have a hot horror summer, and I hope to see you on the discord or social media at #CFF2021!
