Check Out This Intense ‘The Girl with All the Gifts’ Clip

Watch a New Clip from Colm McCarthy's 'The Girl with All the Gifts'

Check out a brand new 3-min clip from director Colm McCarthy’s The Girl with All the Gifts, which shows a couple of calm moments before the storm. The film looks like something interesting that horror fans will need to see, so don’t forget to check it out at the end of the month in theaters. Personally speaking, I want to know more about the neo-zombies known as “hungries” by the soldiers. Head on down to watch the footage.

The Girl With All The Gifts comes form an adaptation of M. R. Carey’s apocalyptic tale, and stars Gemma Arterton (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters), Sennia Nanua, Glenn Close, and Paddy Considine.

The near future: humanity has been all but destroyed by a fungal disease that eradicates free will and turns its victims into flesh eating “hungries”. Only a small group of children seem immune to its effects. At an army base in rural England, this group of unique children are being studied and subjected to cruel experiments. But one little girl, Melanie, stands out from the rest.

When the base falls, Melanie escapes along with Miss Justineau (Gemma Arterton), Sergeant Parks (Paddy Considine), Dr. Caldwell (Glenn Close) and two other soldiers. Against the backdrop of a blighted Britain, Melanie must discover what she is and ultimately decide both her own future and that of the human race.

The Girl with All the Gifts is available on DirecTV right now. You can catch the film in theaters on February 24 via Sabin, and will also be accessible by on demand.
