Chucky Will Be Voiced by Mark Hamill in Orion Films’ 'Child’s Play' Reboot!

We have been biting at the nail to know who would be replacing the legendary Brad Dourif in Orion’s Child’s Play reboot as the new voice of Chucky, and we just received news today that Star Wars‘ very own Mark Hamill has scored the job!

Hamill shared the surprising news in video form via his official Twitter page this afternoon, which you can check out in the embed tweet below.

Back in early February, a full trailer Orion’s Child’s Play reboot was released to the public, giving horror fans a first real look at the newly designed Chucky doll in all its glory.

Synopsis: “Child’s Play follows a mother (Plaza) who gives her son (Bateman) a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.

So far the cast is as follows: Aubrey Plaza and Brian Tyree Henry have been cast as leads, along with child actor Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out) as our young protagonist Andy Barclay.

Are you excited to hear Mark Hamill voice Chucky in the new Child’s Play reboot? If so, will you be attending the very first screening on opening night? As usual, you can let us know the answers to both questions down in our comments section below this post.

Child’s Play stalks theatres everywhere on June 21st, 2019.
