Co-Writer Scott Teems Says 'Halloween Kills' is Bigger, Badder, Meaner Than the First

We have been hearing nothing but positive things about director David Gordon Green‘s Halloween Kills since its test screening a couple of months ago in Los Angeles, California. And today we have more interesting details from the film’s co-writer Scott Teams.

While speaking with the folks over at MovieWeb, Teems teased the following:

I really can’t say anything about it, but I am really excited about it. I saw a rough cut of it a few weeks ago, and I’m a little biased, but my gut says that people that like the last one will be very excited about this one. It’s like the first one on steroids, I guess. It really is the bigger, badder, meaner version of the first one.

John Carpenter is confirmed to provide new scores for both sequels. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens will reprise her role as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers will reprise his role as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall will play Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards will reprise her role as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu will return as Julian, Robert Longstreet has been cast as the adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.

We will keep you updated on that Halloween Kills trailer and World Premiere.

Halloween Kills will stalk theaters on October 16th, 2020, followed by Halloween Ends on October 15th, 2021.
