Danny Boyle Says His Idea for '28 Months Later' is "Properly Good"

After the success of director Danny Boyle‘s Brisish horror flick 28 Days Later, it would be another five years before the follow up sequel, 28 Weeks Later made its debut. In a brand new interview with the folks over at The Independent, Boyle revealed that he his some “properly good” ideas for a possible third entry.

Boyle told the site: “Alex Garland and I have a wonderful idea for the third part. It’s properly good.” He then added: “The original film led to a bit of a resurgence in the zombie drama and it doesn’t reference any of that. It doesn’t feel stale at all. He’s concentrating on directing his own work at the moment, so it’s stood in abeyance really, but it’s a you-never-know.

We have been hearing about a third entry for years, but now that all this time has passed, Boyle sounds like he has a legit idea at last. Do you want to see a new 28 Months/Years Later movie? Sound off in the comments section below.
