Delroy Lindo in Talks to Join Mahershala Ali in Marvel's 'Blade' Reboot

As reported by a number of reputable news media websites this week, Delroy Lindo, who appeared in the 2021 Western The Harder They Fall, is in talks to star alongside Mahershala Ali in Marvel’s Blade reboot movie.

Bassam Tariq, best known for the Riz Ahmed film Mogul Mowgli, will direct Blade from a script written by Stacy Osei-Kuffour (“Watchmen”).

Wesley Snipes, who played the daywalker in three previous movies, has been posting tons of positive comments regarding Ali taking over the starring role.

The original 1998 movie follows:

Blade, who is part-vampire and part-mortal, becomes a vampire hunter to protect human beings. He prevents vampires from taking control over the human race.
