First Trailer for 'Pet Sematary' Brings the Dead Back to Life!

Today is the day we get our first real look at Paramount Pictures’ Pet Sematary remake, directed by Starry Eyes team Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch. As promised on Tuesday, a brand new trailer has now been released online.

We’re digging what we see in the first footage, and we can’t help but be impressed by some of the rather eerie visual effects. Take a look for yourself below.

Synopsis: “Dr. Louis Creed (Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.”

The film stars John Lithgow (Twilight Zone: The Movie) as Jud Crandall, Jason Clarke (Winchester) as Louis Creed, Amy Seimetz (Alien: Covenant, “Stranger Things”) as Rachel Creed, ten-year-old Jeté Laurence will play Ellie, three-year-old twins Hugo Lavoie and Lucas Lavoie will play Gage

Stephen King’s Pet Sematary is set to resurrect all things dead on April 5th, 2019.
