The name George A. Romero is legendary within the horror community, and he’s most definitely known to all as the king of zombies! The iconic director will be joining Hollywood’s “Walk of Fame” with his very own star. At 76 years old, Romero has given horror fans so many zombie classics, which started with 1968’s Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead, and Survival of the Dead.

He’s not only directed all the zombie greats, but also other horror gems such as The Crazies, Martin, Monkey Shines, Bruiser, and was involved in 1982’s Creepshow.

We heard it first on a livestream that George A. Romero will be added to the “Walk of Fame” alongside Amy Adams, Goldie Hawn, Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo. Vin Di Bona spoke to a live audience via Walk of Fame’s website, which you can check out in the video below at 17:50.
