'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' and 'Morbius' Delayed Until 2021

Sony pictures has decided to push back its summer slate due to the coronavirus and included in the delays are Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Morbius. Sony is following the direction of several other movie companies who have delayed the releases of several anticipated titles, some of which have even been given VOD releases.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife had an original release date of July 10th but will now be releasing March 5th of next year. Morbius was scheduled to be released July 31st and is now coming to theaters March 19th.

This is definitely a letdown to fans looking forward to these titles but with almost every movie theater chain currently shut down, it was inevitable more summer movies would be effected in some way.
