‘Halloween Ends’: FX Artist Christopher Nelson Talks Reshoots and Says the Movie is “Weird and Different”

'Halloween Ends': FX Makeup Artist Christopher Nelson Says "It's Weird and Different"

A few interesting Halloween Ends tidbits came out of this week’s episode of the podcast show The Thing With Two Heads, a popular horror based podcast on YouTube co-hosted by Sean Clark (Horror’s Hallowed Grounds) and FX makeup artist Christopher Nelson, who worked on all three movies in director David Gordon Green’s Halloween trilogy.

I’m excited for people to see the movie,” said Nelson while speaking with TTWTH co-host Sean Clark. “I think It’s weird, it’s different, and I like that

Nelson also revealed that the reshoots took only four days to complete, not two weeks like many sources had reported.

I went and did Halloween reshoots. I’m not going to talk a lot about it because I can’t. I did that and it went well. It was very busy. We didn’t do a whole lot. It wasn’t two weeks like everyone’s saying it was. It was four days. But it went well and I was very happy with everything. We had a good time and I’m excited for people to see the movie.

On a related note, producer Jason Blum called Halloween Ends a “very good” movie after watching a recent screening. Follow the link to check out that particular article.
