This past Saturday, Mad Monster Party held their latest horror convention at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel. In attendance at the event was Halloween 1978 star PJ Soles, who revealed that she’s involved in some capacity with Blumhouse Productions and director David Gordon Green‘s upcoming sequel Halloween Kills. As of writing this post, the actress has not shared any further details regarding her involvement with the film.
You can check out what Soles had to say in the following video clip from the Mad Monster below.
Synopsis:
“And the Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet.
Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.
But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.
The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.
Evil dies tonight.”
The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall as the adult Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Robert Longstreet as the adult Lonnie Elam.
So what do you think PJ Soles’ involvement with Halloween Kills will be? Do you think she did more voice over work? Or do you think she could have done something for the film’s flashback scenes? As usual, you can sound off with you thoughts on this down in our comments section below this article.
Halloween Kills will bring the blood, guts and gore to theaters on October 15th, 2021.
