'Halloween Kills' Producer Jason Blum is Trying to Get the Trailer Out and Hopes to Release the Movie This Year

Halloween Kills producer Jason Blum recently told us that the marketing material for the upcoming movie will not begin until the October 16th release date is 100% confirmed. How long will we have to wait to finally see a trailer? In a new interview with EW, Blum told the site that he’s trying to get the trailer out as soon as possible and hopes that the new sequel from Blumhouse Productions will be released by the end of 2020.

When asked about the Halloween Kills trailer and release, Blum said:

Well, we’re trying to get that trailer out and trying to get that movie out before the end of the year. That’s our hope, dream, and plan. We’ll see.

Blum finished with:

If you liked the previous one, you’ll like this one, I’ll say that. [Laughs]

Blum sounds fairly confident that the trailer will debut very soon, followed by the film’s release in theaters worldwide by the end of the year.

John Carpenter is confirmed to provide new scores for both sequels. The third and final film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall as adult Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards as adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu as Julian, Robert Longstreet as adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.
