'Halloween Kills' is Set to Begin Filming in Three Weeks

We just received an official confirmation that Halloween Kills, the next chapter in the Halloween franchise from Blumhouse Productions, is scheduled to start filming in North Carolina, Wilmington in three weeks time. And we also just got word that a script for Halloween Ends is almost in its complete stages, so you can expect production to begin on that one too at some point next year.

Here’s what writer Danny McBride had to say about Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends in a recent interview with the folks over at Polygon.

Halloween 2 starts filming in like three weeks,” McBride told the site. “That’s already off to the races. The script is almost finished for the third one. Hopefully that’ll go at the same time next year.

David Gordon Green is attached to direct both Halloween sequels, with John Carpenter expected to provide new scores for each film. The third and final film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis has signed on to star as Laurie Strode. Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.
