Karen Strode: 'Halloween Kills' Star Judy Greer Teases Badass Character

Judy Greer’s Karen Strode talks about her character being a badass in Halloween Kills.

After months of hype from interviews and teaser videos, the cast and crew of Halloween Kills are promising one of the most brutal, bloody films in the entire franchise. And our latest quote comes from returning star Judy Greer, who plays the role of Karen Strode, Laurie’s daughter. Geer recently sat down for a quick chat with the folks over at Too Fab, where she talked briefly about Karen’s badass streak in the new sequel.

First she began talking about reshoots in Halloween 2018, specifically the “gotcha” scene which ended up turning Karen’s character into more of a badass:

Greer said: “I didn’t even know she was such a badass, that was a reshoot. I was like, ‘Uh, love this!

When asked if we would see more of Karen’s badass streak in Halloween Kills:

Greer simply added: “Yeah, of course!

Greer’s character didn’t really have a whole lot of stand out moments in the last film, apart from that one scene where she suckered Michael Myers in at the top of the staircase so she could take a shot directly at him with a shotgun. Let’s just hope Karen ramps things up a little more in the next one.

John Carpenter is confirmed to provide new scores for both sequels. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens will reprise her role as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers will reprise his role as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall will play Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards will reprise her role as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu will return as Julian, Robert Longstreet has been cast as the adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.
