'Halloween Kills' Update: David Gordon Green Provides More Details During Twitter Watch Party

Blumhouse teases things to come in a Twitter watch party for Halloween 2018.

Halloween Kills is scheduled to hit theaters on October 16th, 2020 but little has been revealed about the film to this point. A short teaser was released last Halloween and since then fans have been clamoring for more details or possibly a poster reveal. Those hoping for a new trailer may be disappointed as David Gordon Green recently revealed it is still in the works.

During the Halloween (2018) Twitter watch party which took place this past Saturday, David Gordon Green took over the Blumhouse Twitter account to commentate on the 2018 reboot as well as share some tidbits of things to come.

With the trailer still being worked on, a poster reveal is most likely the next marketing move. While Green couldn’t share a trailer, he was able to hint at some minor Halloween Kills details.

Looks like the Myers house will be making its return in Halloween Kills which will certainly please fans. More interesting though is the subtle hint of Officer Hawkins coming back. Hawkins was seemingly killed in the 2018 film as he was stabbed in the throat and then run over by Dr. Sartain. He was a fan favorite in the last film and his connection to the events in 1978 (arresting officer of Michael Myers) gives his return some validity even though it may seem like a stretch.

Based off of Green’s tweets we can expect more Halloween Kills information (hopefully soon). Would you like to see Officer Hawkins return in Kills? Let us know in the comments below and on our Facebook page. Be sure to stay up to date with the site for more Halloween developments.
