'Halloween Kills' Video Shows Effort Taken to Bring Back the Classic 1978 Michael Myers Mask

In a new video uploaded via the official Universal YouTube channel to promote the home video release of director David Gordon Green‘s Halloween Kills, make-up artist Christopher Nelson talks about the effort that went into creating the original Michael Myers mask from the classic 1978 slasher. We have embedded the video for your viewing pleasure below.

Previously, Nelson also shared some interesting shots of Airon Armstrong getting ready to have his prosthetic eye piece applied, which was worn under the under the 1978 flashback mask.

Nelson truly captured the look of that converted 1978 Shatner mask from John Carpenter’s Halloween. We would gladly welcome a movie set in the 70s with that mask used in full duration.

Were you blown away as much as we were when the 1978 flashback mask appeared on screen? It was a stunning replica of the original 1978 mask, right? As usual, you can let us know your opinion on this down in our comments section below this article.

Halloween Kills is available to own on Blu-Ray right now from Amazon.com.
