Damien Maffei (The Strangers: Prey At Night and Haunt) and L.C. Holt (You’re Next and V/H/S/2) team up to act and produce Corey Normans indie horror feature film Time’s Up.
Synopsis: “On New Year’s Eve, a faculty party for teachers, still reeling from the suicide of a bullied student, goes horribly wrong when an unexpected guest arrives with an unusual request: participate in a scavenger hunt or die! Accompanied by a diligent reporter and a girl bent on discovering the truth about her friend’s death, the party-goers race to unearth secrets about their mysterious tormentor before the first firework explodes, and the New Year begins with a bloody surprise!”
The Indiegogo for the film has been up for two days and has accumulated a whopping 14,598 dollars with still 28 days to reach their flexible 40,000 dollar goal. For those who choose to back the campaign with a donation, there are different perks with many different prices depending on how much you wish to donate. For example for 10 dollars you get some exclusive Time’s Up stickers, with 25 dollars you can get your name in the credits, for 45 dollars you can get a limited edition signed Blu-Ray and so on. There are plenty of other lovely perks with equally lovely prizes on the official Indiegogo page.
The film also stars Hannah Fierman, David E. McMahon, Ryan Villaci, Madison Edmund, Benji Otte, Bethany Derosiers, Tyler Senatore, Kamara Cole, and Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp).
Rose is also slated as a producer of the film, with Jeremy Selenfriend (owner of Monster In My Closet LLC) as the SFX Artist and Alexander Taylor as the composer.
If you wish to claim any of the amazing prizes from this campaign, I’d be swift as some of the perks only have limited quantity and once they’re gone they’re gone.
If you love slasher films I urge you to check out this campaign, I mean come on. The horror community coming together to help make a dope indie slasher? Doesn’t get much better than that.
