Jamie Lee Curtis Promises 'Halloween Kills' Will Be Worth the Wait

Jamie Lee Curtis assures fans the delay of Halloween Kills will be worth the wait.

By now, everyone has heard the sad news that director David Gordon Green‘s slasher sequel Halloween Kills has been delayed and we won’t witnessing Michael Myers’ return on the big screen until October 15th, 2021. Shortly after the announcement was made public on social media channels, the film’s star Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode) shared her thoughts in a tweet, promising fans the wait will be worth it.

The following Twitter post is Curtis’ response to the Halloween Kills delay announcement, which also contains official press release information shared by the horror master explaining the reason behind the decision.

John Carpenter is confirmed to provide new scores for both sequels. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

The film also stars Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall as adult Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu as Julian, Robert Longstreet as the adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.
