Jamie Lee Curtis Promises "Sensational" End to the 'Halloween' Trilogy

In a recent interview with our friends over at Collider, Jamie Lee Curtis, who is set to appear in director David Goron Green‘s Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, promised a sensational ending to the new trilogy.

Curtis on returning characters:

What I love that David and Danny and company did is they connected the dots for forty years, now they’re going back to really unpack the first movie, bringing back all those characters whose lives were affected by what happened in 1978.

Curtis on trilogy closure:

And then the last movie is the sort of cultural phenomenon of violence, that’s what the third movie ultimately is, a very powerful examination of violence.

It comes at it from a slightly different way. You’ll like it…. If you believe in me at all, I promise you what David Gordon Green has come up with as a way to complete this trilogy is sensational.

David Gordon Green is attached to direct both Halloween sequels, with John Carpenter confirmed to provide new scores. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis has signed on to star as Laurie Strode, Anthony Michael Hall will play Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards will reprise her role as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu will return as Julian, Robert Longstreet has been cast as the adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.

Halloween Kills will stalk theaters on October 16th, 2020, followed by Halloween Ends on October 15th, 2021.
