John Carpenter Confirms He Will Compose New Scores for 'Halloween Kills' and 'Halloween Ends'

With filming set to begin on Halloween Kills in under three weeks, news and rumors are beginning to circulate around the internet. The latest update comes from the folks over at ComicBook.com, who reached out to John Carpenter to ask him if he will be composing new scores for the upcoming Halloween sequels.

When asked if he will compose new scores for Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, Carpenter revealed: “I’m on board. Let’s go.

David Gordon Green is attached to direct both Halloween sequels, with John Carpenter expected to provide new scores. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis has signed on to star as Laurie Strode. Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.

Halloween Kills will stalk theaters on October 16th, 2020, followed by Halloween Ends on October 15th, 2021.
