Keanu Reeves Not Sure if ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’ Will Be a Reality

Keanu Reeves Not Sure if Bill & Ted Face the Music Will Be a Reality

When news broke back in early May that Alex Winters and Keanu Reeves would be reprising their roles as Ted “Theodore” Logan (Reeves) and Bill S. Preston Esq. (Winter) in the highly-anticipated third installment Bill & Ted Face the Music, excitement soon spread around the internet like wild fire.

Today, however, in an interview with, Reeves gave a slight update on the progress of Bill & Ted Face the Music.

Reeves explained to Yahoo, “I don’t know if it is a reality. We’ve been trying for a long time to get that film made, and it still has its challenges. I really love the characters, and I think we have a good story to tell. Part of it is business stuff – financing, rights deals. Nothing creatively.

We still have our fingers tightly crossed in hope that the project officially gets the green light. How do you feel about Reeves’ comments? Let us know in the comments below.

Scott Kroopf (Limitless) will produce together with Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce of Hammerstone Studios, with Steven Soderbergh serving as an executive producer alongside Scott FischerJohn Ryan Jr., and John Santilli.

MGM owns the rights to the film and will release it in the U.S. under its Orion Pictures banner. Bloom is handling international sales, which commenced in Cannes where the project is likely to be one of the buzziest films in the market, Endeavor Content negotiated the deal.

Stay tuned to Dark Universe for more on Bill & Ted Face the Music in the coming weeks/months, hopefully.
