Makeup Effects Artist Christopher Nelson Says 'Halloween Kills is Even Better Than the First One

Makeup effects artist Christopher Nelson promises fans Halloween Kills tops the first one.

Halloween Kills, the sequel to the David Gordon Green-directed Halloween 2018, has recently received a lot of hype from the filmmakers behind the upcoming horror film. And in a new interview with the folks over at HalloweenMovies, makeup effects artist Christopher Nelson had a little bit to say about the highly-anticipated franchise instalment.

While discussing working on Halloween Kills with the official HalloweenMovies website, Nelson dropped the following comments:

It’s even better than the first one. I didn’t think it could be, but it is.

He continued: “We came in knowing we had to up the ante. I think there was even more pressure on Halloween Kills, because we’ve kind of set a precedent with Halloween (2018), and I just was thrilled to be asked back.

John Carpenter is confirmed to provide new scores for both sequels. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall as adult Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Robert Longstreet as the adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.
