MCU 'Blade' Reboot Filming Date Reportedly Delayed Until October

According to a report by Screen Rant this week, MCU’s Blade reboot original filming date has been postponed by three months. The film, starring actor Mahershala Ali (Swan Song), was allegedly intended to begin shooting on July 4th in Atlanta, Georgia and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Before the delay, the website known as Production List reported the original filming date in a post they shared late last month. Follow the link to check out the full report.

Bassam Tariq, best known for the Riz Ahmed film Mogul Mowgli, will direct Marvel’s Blade from a script written by Stacy Osei-Kuffour (“Watchmen”).

Delroy Lindo (The Harder They FallCrooklyn) and Aaron Pierre (Old, “The Underground Railroad”) will star alongside Ali in an unspecified roles.
